About Us
Ana and Lorenzo's paths crossed at the Oxford College of Garden Design, studying under the tutelage of Duncan Heather, the world-renowned landscape designer and design assistant to the late, great John Brookes. A shared admiration for the visionary work of Spanish landscape architect Fernando Caruncho set the stage for both a professional partnership and long-standing friendship.
Their passion for thoughtful, enduring design is rooted in their Spanish and Italian heritage, combining classical structure with the natural beauty of the English landscape to create gardens that are both distinctive and deeply connected to their surroundings.
Ana Mari Bull

Ana, a researcher and administrator for a London art gallery and a former sports administrator for two national governing bodies, swapped her pen for a trowel to pursue her true passion for horticulture and garden design. With a keen eye for both the classical and the contemporary, Ana combines her passion for modern gardens with a fascination for their historical roots. Whether she's studying the gardens of the past or creating spaces for the present, Ana's designs are always infused with an artistic flair that reflects her dedication to beauty, history, and nature. She truly believes that every garden is a work of art—one that's meant to be lived in, loved, and admired.
Ana is based in the Henley studio.
Lorenzo Soprani Volpini
Associate Designer
Lorenzo, originally drawn to the Cotswolds over 20 years ago by his career in equine eventing, found his true calling in gardens, combining his love for nature with a flair for design. Lorenzo established LSV Gardens, based in the Cotswolds, working on projects both nationally and internationally from urban courtyards to large country estates. He believes that a garden needs to stimulate, to surprise, and to inspire. More than just a beautiful location, it should be a place in which to relax and meditate. It needs to complement the environment it sits in, working in harmony with its surroundings.
Lorenzo is currently based in Sirolo, Italy.
