This garden offers a study of the relationship between man and the natural world. The clean, geometric layout combines with neatly clipped planting to highlight the human need to organise and bring order to the natural world. In contrast, areas of naturalistic planting represent the uncontrolled growth that takes place when nature is left untamed. The design creates harmony and rhythm through the use of these two very different styles of planting.
