I have been lucky enough to collaborate with Ana on a number of projects and would highly recommend her professional approach to bring something beautiful and unique to a space. Ana is able to take a client’s brief and create something wonderful that both compliments the architecture, site and surroundings whilst also standing out as a unique considered design with strong structure and often soft, romantic planting. She is able to overcome awkward spaces and challenges, including proving a design for a green living wall to be used as a surround to a contemporary window seat. She is a delight to work with and I am looking forward to working together on the next project.

We feel extremely lucky to be able to leave the land that surrounds our house in the capable and sensitive hands of LSV. We bought a house sat on a plot of dry land, and Lorenzo has designed us a garden that has in turn created a home – he brings everything to life in the most natural and elegant way.

We met Ana at a show in Henley and commissioned her to help with redesign of our garden. her ideas are absolutely fab and now, two years after planting we are more happy than ever with her layout and plant choices. We would ask her to do more if we had more to do!

Ana’s designs blow me away. I really thought I was going to get just another ordinary design and she wowed us!! She really thought out of the box, listened and came up with solutions I would never have thought of. Her contemporary ideas were way ahead of anything I'd seen before. We will be using all the ideas including the sunken fire pit and seating area. Great enthusiasm, we would highly recommend her.

Ana completed our garden project in 2021. When I first met with Ana, she listened carefully to my vision of how I wanted the garden to be colourful, attract birds and mini beasts, easy to maintain and to include a water feature alongside two distinct patio areas. She put a lot of thought into the garden design considering the colours and textures and produced detailed and a variety of designs which were exactly what I wanted. She organised all aspects of the project liaising with the landscaping company on a frequent basis. She was very visible during the project and visited me a few times after it was completed, to check on the progress of the plants and gave great tips for the after care of them. Ana is a very talented and knowledgeable garden designer and I would thoroughly recommend her. My garden genuinely puts a smile on my face every time I look out at it, walk around it or sit and relax in it.

Having moved to Ruscombe House, I was very keen to take on the upkeep myself, but didn’t know where to start. After a very relaxed first meeting, Ana was able to build up a picture of what I wanted to be able to do. She came up with a long-term plan of how the garden could develop, complete with mood boards, planting plans and full maintenance schedules. In order to help me take on the maintenance, we went round the garden and Ana showed me how to carry out each of the tasks correctly and at the right time of the year.

Ana has the rare quality of combining a passion and encyclopaedic knowledge for plants and flowers, with a wonderful sense of humour that makes working with her great fun and very rewarding. I have learnt so much through Ana, who adopts a very thorough and practical approach in everything she does. She has a huge respect for the grand masters of gardening, and thereby a natural understanding for historic styles; she envisages gardens fitting to a house. She has helped me move my prized Syringa, which belonged to my grandfather, to my new home, showing me how to eliminate all disease, so that it was sure to survive. She is also a master at spotting any pests, such as weevil attack, thereby saving me many plants. I could not recommend her more highly.

Redesigning our garden was part of a big house refurbishment project. Right from the start Ana was brilliant at being able to take on board the existing house and patio designs, understand our needs, tastes and style and bring it all to life with well thought out planting plans. We now have amazingly lush flower beds with a combination of colour, texture, structured and soft planting that is often commented on and admired by visitors. Having once had a garden that was largely unused, we now have something that is beautiful and that we thoroughly enjoy spending time in. Ana really cares about her gardens and still checks in with us to see how things are going and to offer much appreciated help and advice.

After an extensive house renovation, it was important to have a garden which reflected the contemporary look of the building. Ana Mari understood our wishes and created a design with hard and soft landscaping, of paved areas, raised beds and lawns, perfect for the house. She then drew setting out instructions for the landscaping team. Ana Mari’s attention to detail was commendable and during the work visited regularly. Her planting plans have given us a garden which is easy to maintain and full of interest throughout the year, differing shapes, sizes and textures and all in a soft colour scheme, creating a calm and relaxing space. We are very pleased with the garden and highly recommend Ana Mari Bull.
